I'm just wondering if there is any way to use my 3D-SPEX with Windows games (I have WinME). If not, I'm considering getting the Eye3D glasses, but would they work with WinME? Thanks for any help.

I am not sure how the 3D-SPEX synsc to minitor
signal. If they get the signal from the monitor
- try any HW page flipping wrappers (VrCaddy).
Try Winx#D lib for non-game based software ...

3DSpex is triggered by the parallel port. Initially it was a LCD-BIOS driven product. Later NuVision developed WinSPEX which only worked for Win95, not Win98.

I have checked that Winx3D library supports 3D-SPEX. Unfortunately the VrCaddy does not activate probably this mode. You will be able to use only the pure Winx3D based aplication, not games (until VrCaddy will be VrJoy related only).

AFAIR, VRCaddy worked perfectly for me with both serial (for my olde Cyberboy) and parallel port drivers from the full WinX3D driver set.
Problems are
a) to get VRCaddy
b) it will work only with rather old driver versions (e.g. NVidia 3.68)

I suggest that you contact VRStandard about their VRCaddy software. I know that it works with the 3D Spex. I did quite a bit of VRCaddy testing with the 3D Spex.
