The question is how much would be us , the gamers ready to pay for playing 3D games only with a 3D Display , without the head-aches , the tireness that the head-mounted devices , shutter-glasses are giving us.

About 4000 $ for a good autostereoscopic
3D display. But you will not get the wide
angle filed of view effect witch can give you
HMD or stereoscopic projection.
Stereoscopic projection device with

Autostereoscopic without a sweet spot, of course. If it had a sweet spot, especially if the image could reverse when viewed outside of a sweet spot, it would remain a niche item.

I'd be surprised if a large enough market would pay much more than $200 premium for such a display. We already know that the premium video cards are not much more than $200 over the cost of a quality mainstream video card. Thus, the customer sees a total premium of $400, or a trade-off between getting a video card or a monitor.
