I'm looking for a stereo interactive player supporting shutterglasses working in interlaced mode. Something like R4D (by Brightland) but with shutterglasses support instead of anaglyph support. I thought about interlaced mode because I'm in a NT enviroment (SGI 320NT cannot load WIN95/98) and I cannot find drivers for shutterglasses. DDD sells shutterglasses with no software need that turs your monitor to interlaced mode ... but where can I find a player??? Or maybe can I find drivers switching any OpenGL application to stereo? If you have the ability to set the refresh rate on your system (NT can if you have identified your monitor), and you can set the refresh rate to 43 Hz, then you will get an interlaced desktop. This particular mode was defined to be an interlaced rate of 86 Hz, with 43 Hz for each interlaced field. Of course, it requires that the video card and monitor support the 43 Hz rate. Many modern cards, such as nVidia and 3DLabs, do not. | ||

I don't know in the built-in graphic card of the SGI 320Nt can do that anyway how can I turn on stereo-interlaced mode in OpenGL application? | ||

Do you really need interlaced mode. SGI sells an adapter to use (stereographics)shutter glasses on their NT stations this allows you to run stereo open gl apps. | ||
