Dug up my OLD pair of H3D's (wireless) that I *think* I got with my old Wicked3D video card back in the day... Anyway... wanted to try them out again with my 6800 Ultra. Download 61.76 drivers + stereo drivers... but I can't get the glass to activate for the test. I found a copy of H3D activator on the web... but when I select Page Flip (or any other option) and click INIT H3D... the screen goes black with a yell and red strip across the top for about 2 seconds and then just returns to desktop. The glasses never turn on during that period. Any thoughts? Thanks! Wazoo |

There were several different products sold under the name H3D, but lets's assume you have the real old 'classic' H3D with the really large dongle. This one had very limited page-flipping capabilities. It stopped working for me at 80 Hz or something. Just start at 60 Hz and see if it works. Then go up step by step. Christoph |

Christoph, THanks for the reply. These *must* be the classic version; the dongle is HUGE! Also takes a 9v 200ma power supply. I tried doing everything at 60Hz put no luck. IS there a sequence I need to do; i.e. Start H3D Activator then do the Nvidia test pattern? I get the same problem as I first describe even running at 60Hz; i.e. yellow & red band then back to desktop. Am I doing something wrong? TIA, Wazoo |
