Hellow, I have two i-visors and since last month, I have the same problem with both units: the displays show vertical lines that make unclear the image. The lines changes of number and intensity from one panel configuration to another, and from one display to another. Setting the vertical and horizontal freq. of the displays with the upper value, have the better results, but the solution is not sufficient. The lines have nothing to do with interferences or something like this. I'm working with both units day by day, and I can't send them to Korea. They have written me but I understand that they can't recommend any kind of manipulation. I have a friend working as electronic than can help me if anyone have an idea of the problem or the solution. All i-visors and cy-visors have defective optics. Buy a new headset, one with a warranty. | ||

This isn't an optics problem, if I am understanding you correctly. It sounds like a problem with electronics, specificially it could be a problem with wire bonds from the display to whatever it connects to, which would cause repeating column fault (RCF) That is just a blind guess, though, and it could simply be a loose solder-joint in one of the circuit boards either in the headworn part of the display, or in the unit which receives the video signals. If you take the unit apart, be very careful with the microdisplays, as even the slightest amount of pressure could damage them. Hopefully the new displays coming out will he attractively priced and reliable! -Steve | ||

That is because most all cy-visors have defective optics. |
