I upgraded my computer to DirectX 9.0a and now the Eye3D 3.5 drivers no longer work, saying that it doesn't support anything past DirectX 7. I cannot find any other driver that supports the Voodoo 2 card I have. I reformatted my hard drive thinking I could install an earlier version of DirectX but microsoft doesn't provide anything earlier than DirectX 8. Any suggestions?

Have you checked your games' CDs? Games that need a certain DirectX version usually come with that version, so you should find earlier versions on 3-4 year old games. Older magazine CDs should also help.

(no, I'm not going to ask why you just don't get some newer card - any old Geforce card you could get for ~20-30U$ at Ebay or private sales should be better, and works with NVidia's stereo driver. You can even keep the Voodoo2 for your favourite Glide games...)
