very kewl...what program are you using to create the stereo pair once you have the depthmapping done?

Bas-relief is about $100...3dcombine has a depthmap video functionality and that program is $50...any reason you didn't go that route instead?

I'm using the free demo version....

I watched the 3DCombine tutorial on the depthmap video conversion with interest. It is basically doing exactly the same thing that I am. I noticed that the automated depth map function was imperfect and created a lot of artifacts. Just as I believed, 2D to 3D conversion currently has to be a balance between both a manual and automated method.
Interesting to see and know though. The automated depth map function would be great for making fast but imperfect conversions for private viewing.
