I have my left and right videos all ready to go, and I'm trying to burn them to a DVD in field-sequential format so that I can watch it with my shutterglasses setup. I've tried interlacing the two feeds into one AVI file using both Stereo Movie Maker and VirtualDub, but when I play it on my TV my field-sequential box doesn't seem to understand it- all I get is a blurry and pixelated interlaced image.

Any suggestions?

Are you sure you are keeping the screen dimensions at 720 x 480 (in stereo movie maker, and your video editing/DVD authoring software)...if those dimensions are chaged at all during you encoding stages, it will mess up the interlacing....
