There is an input mode for the Virtual fx
or X3d TVBox called
X3D Input which is the over/under half height
stereo video format which can be set up in Peter Wimmers
Stereoscopic Player as the preferred viewing
method then fed from the computers TV out
to the input of the Virtual fx which converts
it output to a field sequential signal for TV viewing of
stereo movies direct from the PC to TV.

I am able to play the sensio dvd's in stereoscopic
player and view them on my TV in field
sequential format with the virtual fx even in PAL
format for nicer color though there is a little bit of
black border at the bottom of the screen as
I need to set the seperation in Stereoscopic Player
to overcome vertical parallax misallignment.
But it works quite nice but a little bit
of interlacing error occasionally.
The Virtual fx is proving quite useful as a 3d tool
instead of just 2d to 3d conversion.

Yes the stereo is great with no ghosting. It helps to
set the computers TV out to overscan mode in the
video cards settings as this minimizes the black
border at the bottom of the screen. Stereoscopic
Player in above below format uses Seperation
setting uses Alt-Up Arrow or Alt-Down Arrow
to fine tune the seperation to align the left and right
images that are folded together by the Virtual fx
in X3D input mode.

I'm looking at stereomovie player now and i can't find where to set it to over/under as preferred setting. I see interlaced and side by side and anaglyph but no over/under.

If i can get this to work it'll finally put that virtual FX to good use.

thanks
