Folks:

Are any of the modern TVs (other than the DLP Samsung/Mitsubishi models that require a computer) capable of outputing interlaced video so that they work with existing field-sequential glasses/sync boxes? I have a friend looking to buy a new TV to replace his CRT, but he is hoping there are still some flat-screen types that will show interlaced video...have they all been discontinued in favor of progressive scan? His budget is around $650....Thanks!
