Just bought a 19' syncmaster 957MB- viewing stereo photos and videos works like a charm, however when I launch half life 1 the monitor seems to revert back to around 75hz.

1.How do I force it to do 100hz?

2.I couldn't find a comprehensive supported resolution/herts chart. When I turn it to 120hz it works but is there a chance it will damage it?

using edimensional stereogoggles. nvidia 8800+ edimensional stereodrivers. using 163.71 foreceware and can't find the 'force resolution/refresh rate' thingy that I saw in other drivers. any way to activate it by registry?
