Alienware looks to be bringing out a super widescreen curved display later this year. It works off of DLP back-projection and has an insane resolution of 2880x900. The response time is .02ms so that should be adequate for use with active stereo glasses. Might be even more immersive than some headsets assuming stereo3d will work with it.
