Hello everybody, sorry if my english isn't good as yours.
I'm new here, not only to the forum, but also to the subject, so, please, forgive me if I'm asking stupid questions.
Recently I bought the iTheater Video Glasses (I know that your devices are probably better than mine, but, like I said before, I'm new and I wanted to start trying a cheap display), whose resolution is only 320x240 (yes, it sucks!).
Now, my question is: can I use my device to see in 3d? I know that the quality and the resolution are very poor, but the video glasses have to displays, one for each eye. How can I use my video glasses to see in 3d? Is there a software to buy and install?
Now I can only watch everything I can also watch in TV, because my device has NTSC/PAL/SECAM video signal and I connect it to the tv-out of my video card (Ati Radeon x1950 XT).
Please help me, even if my question sounds stupid to you who have much more experience than me.
Thanks.
Bye
Tito

I don't think the iTheater supports 3D. It may have two displays, but not the circuitry to feed the two with different images.

To get 3D out of the PC with a HMD you'd need something like the i-glasses PC/SVGA Pro 3D and preferably a nVidia video card.

Hi Christoph,
thank you for your answer.
I'd like to watch in 3d, but I don't know how to start, cause, like I said, I'm a newbie.
I've seen "Beowulf" at cinema in 3d and the experience (not the movie itself) was fantastic!
The point is: 3d solutions for home (pc or tv) are developed enough to buy them?
Is there a cheap solution to start? I've got an Ati video-card, and I can change it with a Nvidia, but that costs, if I have to buy other stuff it can become a lot of money to invest...

It is no so bad.
I use NVidia 6600 card, these cards are no so expensive and for most aplications and many games this works problemless. next thing is the display.Old CRT is for begining no so bad, new DLP samsung TVs are ready, and next possibility is DLP projector - this is awesome setup.
For begining 6600 card, CRt ,e-dimensional shutterglasses . Enjoy.
Peter
