Errm. yes - and it probably will as long as I keep my provider... though both the page and my controller homebrew ambitions have been in dormant mode for some years now, so anyone with detailed questions (especially for that over-sophisticated microcontroller version) should be prepared for fading memories on my part... does anyone still have the circuit schematics for v1.2 of Andreas' analog controller? i tried using http://web.archive.org to search Andreas' old site. i was able to get a hold of the parts list, but the schematics (sd12_sch.gif) are missing. if someone has still has it, i'd apprecieate it if you could mirror the GIF somewhere. thanks. | ||

andreas: good to see you still around.  have you totally abandoned your microcontroller design? i am interested in your design without the line-blanking. it sounds like it will be cheaper/simpler to fabricate. however, do nvidia's stereo drivers work without line-blanking? | ||

Well, I haven't touched it for some years, and didn't feel any desperate urge to continue, since I got Revelators and other glasses working fine in case I need some - not to mention the time I spent, and which I now, for some reason, find harder to spare... Yet, in case the old drive should come back some day, the files are still there... | ||

perhaps you had no drive because no one seemed interested in your project? ;) anyway, i'm really looking forward to your site coming back up so i can take a look at the schematics. i noticed on the archive of your site, that there is no components list or source code for the hex. do you intend on making either of them available? Wow, that's been really 'a few' days... I apologize for the delay (and, AFAIR, a few unanswered mails...) At last, I finally could make up my mind to revive my old webspace - I eventually found out that luckily, my provider still seems to support its old-style private webspace, even though they actually try to sell full domains now, and also the alias path doesn't seem to work any more, so the index page is now http://www.nord-com.net/cnb00957/index_frames.html After almost 4 more years, what I wrote before is even more valid - this stuff is provided as-is, and I haven't touched the design (not to talk about the microcontroller code) ever since the last millennium, so don't expect any support. Probably even the Maxim chip and the microcontroller I used may have become obsolete by now. My CRT has died some time ago, and I have now acquired a Zalman polarised stereo display, so all my shutter glasses (and controllers) are now collecting dust in the drawers - even more since NVidia in their inifinite wisdom and greed decided to drop support for anything but their own shutter glasses in their drivers (and I'm not going to spend a fortune on any 3rd-party software just to go stereoscopic with shutters again)... For those who are interested, here a link to a copy of the lastest (AFAIR) firmware The Software was compiled with ATMEL's AVRStudio3, which is now discontinued, but can still be found e.g. here A current version from Atmel should also do (probably even better), and will also support current controllers.
