1) I want to buy a Z800, but I live in Italy. Does eMagin ship to Italy?
2) I want to use it with a laptop. What kind of graphics card does the laptop need to have?

1) It shipped mine to holland so it will likely ship to Italy as well.
2) Use a recent NVidia card for stereo, look on NVidia's driver notes to find more info.

Hi Devil Master I'm also from Italy, where are you from exactly?

Ciao Devil anche io sono italiano. Di dove sei?

You will have to pay import duties and taxes for the z800, I suggest to avoid standard shipping without tracking.

Nord Italia.

My intention is to choose the first (and most expensive) shipping option. Is it really that better than the others (does that allow me to track the parcel) or would I be wasting my money?

Check the USPS site, I think I used the second option (Global Express Mail) and I could track the package. UPS did the final delivery. Although the package may be better insured with the other option. It did take quite some time as I saw the package being sent to several different cities in America before it ended up in Paris and finally went to Holland.

Aza,
Last Friday I finally took the big plunge and ordered a Z800. I chose the Global Express Mail option. How long did yours take to be shipped?

THe global express mail is the best option to ship it to europe from USA, I have always received items in 5 working days.

Not a registered company in Canada and read the reviews. Call some of the suppliers and check too. Not a pretty picture.

I bought mine from cwonline and it came in 3 days. Not sure who is spreading this bad rumour but I had no problems. Probably that other distributor armand guy from vrealities trying to cause trouble again since he is not allowed to sell them. Call eMagin if you want to verify if cwonline is legit. This guy at vrealities should stop posting this stuff on here.

They don't have it listed on their site plus I called eMagin and they said Virtual Realties in Texas are not authorized to sell them nor have the sold them. I guess your playing games again Armand. LOL

That is a lie, I called emagin before I purchase and they told me they were an authorized seller. That is why I bought from them. :)

Tsing aka Armand from Vrealties you called "Imagine" not eMagin because VRealities has not nor will not be allowed to carry emagin products. So keep dreaming and imagine that your not an idiot some day.
