Is this 3D-stereo or it's just 2d from four different angles?

I believe that's actual 3d. It looks like one of those laser units which I heard they are using to create holograms in air like that, but it's been refined to being able to do 3d video, instead of just still images (although they are still semi-transparent). Rather like the image that R2D2 had of Princess Leia in Star Wars, but without all the static.
