Yes i installed them.
When i looked in the version info panel i saw a warning that i'm using different versions.
All dlls have the version 6.14.10.7184
but the following 3:
nview.dll
nvshell.dll
nvwdmcpl.dll
have version 6.14.10.10035

Can anybody confirm this?
Do i have a screwed up installation or is this normal?

Greetings
Markus

Same here, no problems, I guess this is normal.

hiya,

I have a 6600GT and, for various reasons, have to use Windows 2003 Enterprise as my OS. I have downloaded the latest forceware drivers from nvidia.com along with the stereo drivers, but enabling stereo doesn't seem to make any difference.

I have tried the medical test and the test application, but the two images are not being interlaced (i.e. no artefacts) - even with stereo enabled, the picture just looks 2D (and the glasses don't do anything).

Does anyone know if stereo is actually supported under windows 2003, or how to get it working?

System setup: P4 Xeon 3.06Ghz, nVidia 6600GT AGP8x, 2Gb ram, Win2K3 Server Enterprise

cheers

zw

My Toy: Nforce2, Quadro FX1000, Win2Kpro

complete system backup -> try new drivers

markus: with 71.84 I see no driver files named nview.dll nvshell.dll nvwdmcpl.dll listed in my "Driver Details" tab. ( and I have no clue what those filenames mean -- should I check for some missing feature ? )

I always uninstall the old stereo drivers from the control panel and run regclean before upgrading the base driver, testing the Quadro stereo, then trying the gaming add-on.

I had to use the

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\nv\Device0]
"D3DOGL_EnableConsumerStereoSupport"=dword:00000001

in a text file and add it to the registry to enable the gaming stereo this update. I did not need to do that under 56.72.

Everything since 56.72 has struck me as too buggy to stick with so far. Three days ( off and on ) of tinkering with 71.84 and I'm mostly thumbs-up: StereoPlayer OK, old games ok, Half-Life 2 actually playable compared to 61.76, same old boring 40% overclock of water cooled Quadro on standard voltages via coolbits ( maybe running warmer: is it going to breach 40 celcius core for the first time? )... switching from Quadro to gaming mode and back with manual registry changes seems messy & I don't like it ... I might drop back to 56.72 yet.
