using two images and the channel mixer in photoshop the red/blue images work but haw do I get the same effect in after effects? using the channel mixer doesnt seem to work, the image is from a 3D programme could it be because its not actual footage or a photo?

New Project.
New Composition.
Import L & R footage
Put R footage on timeline.
Put L footage on timeline above R.
Add [Effect]: Channel --> Set channels applied to L.
Us L layer's Red for Red Channel, use R layer's Blue and Green for Blue and Green Channels.

Render.
