Uh, Kev-
The idea is awesome, the execution ain't. They're been around with this thing, oh, 5 years now and their site never changes.
I've read that the raw [x,y,z] capture just isn't fast/detailed enough to be of any real use. So developers don't write API's to, say, 3D apps like Lightwave, Max, etc.
I'd pass. Cheap junk is still junk.

I disagree. For an Ebay price of about 20.00 it's pretty damn impressive. All depends on your application.
