Hi,

I've just released a new beta of 3DCombine (http://www.photoalb.com/combine). It now supports sync doubling, opengl stereo and video editing on the fly. There's several other new features as well.

You shuld add line-blanked (interlaced)
as the optional full scren output ...
The OpenGl output is realy a nice idea ...

I'm still having trouble with directshow because it still won't let you render to a backbuffer from VB. The video player currently built in works with directshow but will only convert AVI 3D videos to 3D - something to do with the way directshow renders AVI files. The AVI processing routines are VfW and the new routines I'm working on for 3D OpenGl playback are VfW. I'm also looking into MPEG support.
I don't have a set of glasses that supports line-blanked so I can't test it, but I was under the impression that selecting interlaced as the output format would do the job?

You are right. Interlaced = O.K. for line blanking. Do you have interlaced output now ? I can not find it ...

Not being technically knowledgeable, I don't understand some of the lingo here.

Could you state plainly what "3D video" formats are available and if they will work with the I-Art glasses and the Nvidia graphics card and drivers? Also, how you configure the AVI files? There is no Mpeg support from what I understand.

Can you do page flipping 3D video with the Nvidia drivers? How is it set up (i.e. - above/below, etc.)? What is VfW? This may truly show my ignorance of the parameters but I'm having a hard time knowing what is possible from the discussion here.

Thanks

To view the image in interlaced you can use the Save and Preview function from the file menu. Alternatively you can change the quick view format to interlaced in settings. Note in both cases you must select the 'view actual size' option. Full screen is coming.

Basically all 3DVideo formats are available for editing purposes (above/below, interlaced etc). In the 2.50 Beta, video playback is only supported with the ELSA Generic Revelator driver, though I am working on increasing compatibility for the next release. Certainly OpenGL stereo and sync doubled should be available.
VfW means Video For Windows - i.e. old style AVI support. MPEG support is not currently available.
The help in the help file and on the website is considerably more detailed.
