Anon --

Where do you have information that the DV920 "supports res up to 1024x868"? The www.icuiti.com website link provided above by Onfal states that the DV920, like its V920 predecessor, accepts standard VGA and S-Video input and displays standard VGA 640x480 in both 2-D and 3-D modes.

I got a brochure at a trade show they were at says it upscales to 8x6 or 1024 modes. still only vga displays, but it works in those modes. grainy at 1024 but 8x6 is fine for the desktop and games. Still no tracking but they said its coming. They also had a low cost one that they showed that is qvga and does stereo from an ipod

So it is a sure thing that the DV920 scales 800*600 & 1024*768 ?
Anon did you use the DV920 at the show ? Have you seen it in use with your own eyes ? And if so, was there any ghosting in games ?
Thanks for any input.

They are VGA displays so they can't display more than the given rows and columns on the display. What they are doing is sub sampling the higher resolution down to VGA. So all you get is VGA out no matter what res is input.

Q Asher you are correct and the DV920 does scale higher resolutions down to 640x480.
