Ive seen people saying that emagin is good but because of the resolution they prefer a monitor, if one was to try and experience the newwest games in steroscopic 3d what kind of monitor would be the best?

Anything works, just get one that can deliver minimum 100hz in the resulotion you want to play in.

CRT, best response time and quality. In this case, big is better :-)

And of course a decent fresnel lens to double the size and effect

best monitor for 3D is a projection system active or pasive :-)

I went with a 21 inch crt, where do I find a compatible fresnel lens?

me: My company was participating in testing and dvelopment of InFocus DepthQ projector, so if you want to get portable system, big screen, no ghosting, I suggest this device.
But if you need something for more people (more than 4-5) passive projetion system will do the work ...

if you are interested in a complete passive glasses stand alone system with good image quality check out www.dep3d.com

looks like a big screen tv and plays games/movies with a pc
