Hi folks,

How many pixels does a 800x600 HMD have.
I heard thatthey work it out by RGB X 3 which means, and which go like this R X G X B which is 3x.
and so it means 800x600 x 3 which gives 1.44 milion pixels or i may be mistaken but i have heard how this is not its true effective pixels and how each eye is really between 180,000 and 480,000 pixels for each eye.

or is this new x-eye actually 1.44 milion poxels and 800x600 for each eye?

i would really like to know on these pixels sizes.

You have it right but they call it picture elements for the rgb subpixels that make up a pixel. So 800 X 600 X 3=1.44 million picture elements or subpixels which equals 480,000 full color pixels per display.
