3DZ company announced a stereo upgrading kit for 15" and 17" TFT monitors. See the following link for details:

What do you think about? Maybe somebody tried it himself?

I was pleased with the prices. They also offer stereo ready TFT monitors, but there isn't prices for them....

this is the same basic concept as using a lentiucular barrier method as seen on the yahoo lentiucular group. i tried to use the barrier method kit found on the group to actually play games but failed. I successfully made the barrier by printing verticle lines on transparency paper wedged between a sheet of glass and an LCD monitor - but only with viewing stereo images.

I attempted to use the nvidia stereo driver in interlaced mode with the same setup, but didn't have good results. there is the issue of using the monitor in portrait mode due to the way RGB pixels are built into the LCD - basically, the stero effect is better if you rotate the LCD 90 degrees and then print your transparency barrier to have verticle lines. Problem is, there's no easy way to tell a full screen video game to simply rotate 90 degrees - trust me, i tried everything: the nvidia software rotate in display properties, 3rd party rotate software, and i even tried to play open-gl games in windowed mode rotated. all with no luck.

so my question to this company would be, how do you solve the 'sub-pixelation' problem by not rotating the LCD monitor?

here is the link to the barrier kit:

you have to join the group :)

I am in the lenticular group too under yahoo id "kx2us".

They get around the "sub-pixelation" like Phillips did with their 3D display.

There is nothing wrong with this way of putting views together, except there is no video card currently can render 9 views and still fast enough for gaming.
