I'm guessing it would be very complicated to be able to make home movies 3D huh? I wanted to get some videos of my car in 3D, but I don't know where to start. I can do the pictures and they turn out great, but movies? There must be a way! Also, what player should i use? I tried the stereoscopic player a while back and never got it to work right. Maybe there's a newer/better version now. Anyway, if you've done 3D video, please tell me how!

You might want to look at this ongoing thread:
"Low budget projection solution questions" in the "General" discussion section, because we are talking about up-to-date solutions if you are only able to buy interlaced consumer gear.
There are a growing number of people shooting 3D video with "cheap" camcorders, side-by-side. John B'ham is getting rich making mounting bars for everybody, and is promising me a free round trip airline ticket to the screening of the first "optimized anaglyph" Wimmogliphic movie ;-) (I'm joking a bit, here... sorry :-)
There's an active group of dedicated "low budget" 3D shooters over in the Yahoo "3DTV" group, too:

Yes, there are a couple of good players for PC, now:
Stereoscopic Player:

and
StereoMovie Player:

Have fun!
