You can download them from the IO Display site(Get both of them):

http://www.i-glassesstore.com/iglassessvga3dhphones.html

- All new NVIDIA cards should work
- Games with Vertex shaders should work
- Anti-Aliasing with stereo should work
- Of special note: Call of Duty and Halo in Stereo, Hotdog!

Cheers

Unfortunately, it´s not working at all with Counter-strike and poorly with Morrowind.

Not having problems with morrowind here. Finally, pixel shaded water works, and so stunning does it look :)

Spend half an hour just galoping through the lands with boots of blinding speed - simply amazing :)

Hope you get your problem fixed.

I experienced choppyness not only in Morrowind, but in the new UT2004 demo as well. And in Asherons Call 2 the GUI and the water effects goes double. This can´t be the final version... nVidias webbsite doesn´t have it for download either.

Anyone tried the 56.56 stereo drivers with the latest Win9x Forceware (53.xx)?
Not that I wouldn't, but I'm still recovering from a toasted hard drive :-((

the display driver on the site is also new, I believe. The link
"The New nVidia Display"
goes to the 56.56 display drivers. Maybe some of the problems with the stereo drivers will be fixed by also installing the new display drivers?
I haven't played around with them much yet.

I'm running 56.56 for both stereo/Video drivers.

So far,

Day of defeat (HL mod) crashes to the desktop when stereo is enabled.

Call of Duty seems to work fine with Stereo enabled, i only played it for a short time however (30 minutes or so)

Post more back when i get time to play with the setup

Key question: Do the 56.56 stero drivers have dual stereo output enabled (or is it possible to enable it by register tweaking) ? The drivers version with I had seen at SDA presented by nVidia people were working in dual output mode several hours without problem ...

I am wondering the same thing M.H.
I have the new stereo drivers, and I an unable to enable the dual output option of stereo. I will mess around with it some more, but I don't think I will have any luck. Has anybody else been able to figure it out?

Yes, dual output works. Set StereoViewerType=4 in the registry for this mode. However, as a reminder, you must have both heads working in the same mode, X by Y by Bit depth all must be the same AND you must run the game/app in the same exact mode or else you get garbage in at least one screen.

Cheers.

StereGamers: The drivers version witch I had seen &SDA had dual output as a standard mode in the control panels. Sounds like 56.56 is still not yet final beta version ...

My PC blues screens now since I installed the new drivers :( I had created a restore point and it won't even let me restore to any point!

I installed 56.56 xp drivers then I install the 3 meg Stereo Drivers??

Fortunately I was able to go in in safe mode and manually install the current nvidia drivers from their website 53.03 I beleive?

Anyways if anyone had any suggestions on how to sponge out old drivers or whatever I would appreciate it :)

Dell GX400 (Intel P 1.4)
512 RIMM RAM
MSI GF4 ti4200 8x AGP (runs max 4x in this pc)
- Dual head VGA/DVI - HAS Vid in/out adapter in S-VID port.
XP Pro All updates & patches applied

Infocus X1
Revelators

Aux PC: Win98se - VFX1 (running on PII w/agp video)

Meanwhile I'll play with it some more.. the drivers that is! :)

More on this..

I have installed the latest drivers 56.56 and they seem stable.. UNITIL I go to activate 3dstereo in the the driver interface the I get a blue screen with the following error: NV4_DISP.DLL I hate to sound like a noob but what drivers and in what sequence do I install them? NVidia alone has detonator drivers/nforce drivers?.. then this STEREO driver from the I-glasses site (only 4 megs?). Do I also use the GFTweak util as well?

I'm really stumped and I would like my 3D back. I haven't been able to use the revs since I upgraded from win98 :( Any help, as always is appreciated :)

..And yet more.. Installed the beta driver 56.56 and then the new stereo driver. PC didn't crash but when enabling stereo test I just saw on image on the screen. It's like the driver isn't using 2 images even thoguh it thinks it is? I then tried Gefore tweak Util and that was what crashed it. I rolle back the driver but am still square one, the new drivers wont work for me :(

The revs are getting power as I see them flicker when starting up. Also just look at your wrist watch or your phone display, you can tell when the polorization is working. I have 2 sets and have tried swapping between (never without rebooting afterward).

I've been able to get the dual output to work with some games like GTA vice city and Nascar Thunder 2003, but for newer games such as Madden 2004 the system crashes if I try dual output mode. If I turn off the extended screen I can get it to page flip, but as soon as I extend the screen and use dual output mode (#4 in the registry) Madden 2004 won't even start. Has anyone seen this type of problem? Do you know of a solution?

Thanks!

Make sure all trace of the existing drivers are removed before upgrading. Get hold of the "Nvidia File Remover" or nfr and run it after you have removed all reference to the old drivers via the 'add/remove progs' applet in the control panel.

The best method I have found is:
1. remove everything (stereo, display) reboot
2. go into safe mode
3. run the nfr, make sure all trace of previous drivers are removed.
4. boot back into regular windows
5. install the display drivers, reboot
6. install stereo drivers

Looks like stereo driver 56.56 does not work with X3D TV Gateway and X3D PC Gateway. I have tried to start it – no result. Page-Flip mode not activated.

Same problems here with stereo and graphic 56.64 drivers on X3D TV Gateway and X3D PC Gateway. I updated to the new Nvidia FX 5200 card and latest stereo 56.64 drivers, but had to go back to my old GeForce 2 Pro card. This is the only way I could use 30.87 drivers with DirectX 8.1 for X3D TV Gateway to pageflip. The FX Card would not allow me to install the 30.87 stereo and graphic drivers.

X3D software has not been updated since I purchased it over 2 years ago. Nvidia stereo and graphics software has been improved to take advantage of new graphics cards and DirectX 9 capabilities. It's about time X3D World updated their products to take advantage of new technology. My computer system is getting old due to trying to run this outdated software.

Because X3D Gateway works interlaced
without Nvidia drivers X3D don't care
about Nvidia pageflip. They never
respond to email in their support
center and although listed on
the Nvidia site as a user of their
drivers shouldn't be there because
they never update their software.

X3D are probably going broke like 3dplus did
and can't afford a decent programmer.

For once in my life I wonder about all this complain; people are never satisfied? I admit that for those who have the trouble, it must be doubly annoying.

But my experience is that this is the very best 3D-stereo package that NVIDIA ever delivered. No need to use HertzLock anymore, no need to use the eDimensional 3-D tool to synchronize, all the effects work (as well as you can expect for some old games who were tricking the 3D effects anyway), FSAA works, and the framerates are like doubled. Oh, and the controls also work, so much easier to play with frontplane/backplane settings now... This really really made me enjoy the 3D stereo gaming again, and now I don't play any game (so far) without Stereo.

So, to counterweight some of the above: I find this very very good upgrade, and makes me happy that I chose a meager GF4 over ATI because of this. I've never been this 3D-Stereo happy before.

ok i bought the x3d extreme system it took me 2 days to get it functioning properly..the suplied drivers etc blue screened my comp after it installed the stereo drivers and reset..the current recommended nvidia updated display drivers version 56.72 and stereo driver version 56.64 refused to work properly for me..i am using xp pro with gforce 4200ti...heres my solution.
1.d/load display drivers 56.64 and stereo drivers 56.64(www.google.com)should help
2.uninstall all software related to x3d (esp x control panel) also uninstall current display drivers and stereo drivers(your comp will want to reboot so reboot)
3.now install display drivers version 56.64(reboot)
4.install 3d stereo driver version 56.64(reboot)
5.install x3d desktop controller(found on original cd or at x3d website..currently version 2.5)if using original cd MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT INSTALL DISPLAY OR STEREO DRIVERS FROM CD, SAY NO WHEN IT ASKS YOU IF YOU WANT TO INSTALL LATEST NVIDIA DRIVERS
ok now when you look at your nvidia display tab under display settings you will see some extra options...under the stereo properties tab select enable by hotkey=ctrl+t now click apply and the medical test should now work if so click yes /ok to enable.
1 more thing under stereo setup & test, launch test application it is incredible the image comes right out of screen and u can put your hand under the image hrhrhr..saaaaweeeeet!!
ok now go knock yourself out(a little advice perhaps to lessen or save a few headaches and some sore eyes...less 3d effect=less eye strain=less headache 20% recommended for a reason)
i hope this can help at least 1 person then it be worth it..lol..the effect really is incredible with some games esp first time around nfs underground omg..pwnage(high 3d;D)bottle of painkillers;D..lol
ok any1 still need help email me i try and help.
i have a little problem getting the tv gateway to work with my mercury tv card it crashes my comp and just isnt right any help much appreciated
