I think we may see the stereo driver sooner than you think. I got an email from the stereo dev team a few weeks ago saying to keep a lookout on the site for a new stereo driver soon.

Eh, what's the point of the message? The driver is not yet released, so why are you saying it is in headline?

My bad, I should have specified no stereo update yet in the title, sorry.

I guess the point of the message is that the stereo functionality is in the driver, not in the stereo update. The update is usually just a control panel add-in to adjust the settings. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Regards

Just improved stability and usability, Dago. Some games don't like having stereo enabled even if you don't activate it, so it is good to be able to switch it off quickly using the display properties.

I use an old version of Geforce tweak utility.
I use only the page of stereo settings because the rest is pretty much outdated and no more compatible with the new drivers.
From there I can set quickly everything I want about stereo.

Once again: some elements in directx 9 is not compatible with stereo, such as pixel and vertex shaders. That's why new games like SWG look crappy in stereo.

The surprise was the new driver WORKED with my ASUS V7100 Deleuxe Combo... all of it, TV, Glasses, Capture in XP. That's pretty good for a generic driver with ASUS hardware.
