It is in air display, not actually 3D but
potentially multi-layer 2D.

Forgot to tell what it was; it's a super bright
projection on microscopic fog. If fog is fine
enough, it doesn't feel 'wet' but can still
reflect light. Anyway, this is a monitor that
projects such an image for a 'mere' $100,000. It isn't a monster image like Disney's 'Spectro-Magic', but a little 27" display.
