Well, they should tell which TV chipsets are supported, but on the other hand - who cares?

2D-to-3D conversion doesn't work properly anyway. Why should it? The mere idea is crazy.

3D-Combine is going to release a 2D->3D real-time converter too.

I have X3D TV Gateway and X3D PC Gateway glasses and software purchased from X3D world. I use Hauppauge Win TV Theater SVideo TV card and had no problems(Must update all software from Hauppauge website). DO NOT USE any of the PVR models they don`t work with the X3D Win 2000 TV software supplied with X3D TV Gateway. Also you cannot use any Nvidia drivers over 30.87 as the stereo drivers do not work correctly. Including the modified stereo version of the 30.87. If anyone has been able to sucessfully get the higher versions to work with X3D then the information would be most welcome.
I use Windows XP home edition.

Hope that helps
Johnew

Thanks for the information, it will help me to make a choice.
Concerning to drivers:
I used X3D PC Gateway software with
detonator 40.72 WXQL and modified stereodriver 30.87 (http://www.really.ru/download_1.html#12) - working well in Windows XP PRO

To johnew

I have used X3D TV Gateway with Win Fast PVR TV Tuner - Leadtek 2000 XP Delux and E-D glasses, all work well when I use "2D input - 3D Interlaced" mode . But when I have chosen "2D input - 3D Page Flip" mode - I have got horizontal pair like for cross stereo viewing. With PC Gateway "2D input - 3D Page Flip" working with out of problem.
OS - Windows XP pro
Detonator 41.09 and stereopanel 43.03 (http://www.really.ru/download_1.html#12)
Videocard - Geforse 2

It's over a year now since the last posting on this thread. Just a few question:

Have things improved with x3d and TV viewing? how is the quality? Would you recommend? and last but not least, has anyone tried it with the pvr350?

thanks.

I tried it with a Hauppauge PVR doesn't work
unless you use X3D winTV driver but then
you lose native mpeg recording which
is the whole point of Hauppauge PVR

X3D say no software updates are planned for X3D
TV Gateway Nvidia pageflip.

I guess they aren't making enough money
out of it.
