low so there is some noticeable flicker, but the polarization is not an issue and he said the flicker is tolerable.

It's been a common myth perpetuated here that DLP doesn't work with field-sequential 3-D. Most do and do it well (There's a few that either have an internal sync that can drift or do the interlaced to progressive conversion for 3-D wrong) ... DLP can have better image cancellation than CRTs as well. But so far I have not heard of a run of the mill DLP projector running 3-D higher than 60hz, although I could see it being possible with certain models.

Greg, can you tell us the name of a unit you know works with interlaced stereo? At least @ 60Hz ...

Two that I know of include the Davis DLx10 and the NEC LT150. A friend of mine had the LT150 and had to do a minor settings tweak and it produced 60hz field sequential just fine. The rub is no one is actively testing DLP projectors using their various video settings with field-sequential 3D material. My advice would be to test any potential set-up (DLP or not) with 3-D material before buying, ..or ensure you can return said product if it doesn't meet your expectations.

####It's been a common myth perpetuated here that DLP doesn't work with field-sequential 3-D. Most do and do it well###

I take it that you are talking about NTSC-video.

####to work with his edimensional glasses and no modifications####

The video or the VGA version?

If I spend thousands on a projector I want XGA, I want 100Hz+, I want progressive scan, I want to use the nVidia stereo driver. Do you know of a DLP who does that? (Apart from the known 3D-models by VRex and Christie.)

Christoph
