3DCombine now has a new 2D->3D Automatic video conversion algorithm. This system uses a different technique to the methods currently on the market to solve the problems with the 3D disappearing during low motion scenes. It also completely eliminates the vertical disparity between eyes that is present in most other methods.
Currently only available as an offline video processor, a realtime version should be available soon for high-end PCs.
To use this new algorithm simply ensure that the 'motion basis' option is selected in the Automatic Video Conversion window. The older algorithms may disappear in future versions.

i tryed 3dcombine and its cool, the 2d to 3d video conversion its very good.
i have a x3d system and yes 3d conbine is better in low motion scenes it dont solve completly the problem but is better, the vertical disparity problem seems to be eliminated too.
3dcombine is great too for image and video format conversions form any to any format , it can convert form color anaglyph to eny format and use a filter to restore and fix the color information in the pair whith aceptable results.
the manual still image canversion is good

the bad: in 2d to 3d video conv generates artifacts in some objects
only works with avi and only one output format(prallel)
the automatic still image 2d to 3d conversion its very bad
