looks like edimensional now has an office in the UK. the pricing looks very good from what i can tell since it includes duties and my newsletter said shipping starts at under $5 US. those of you that kept asking where to buy this stuff in europe, it looks like a good deal for you, much better than having it shipped over.

Hi,

Where is their office I doubt very seriously they opened an office they are so full of it anyway. Edimensional might have an affiliate there.

Who is it and is there a link? Oh another thing if you believe that they helped develop 3D Plus then I guess pigs do fly!

Albert again,

Just as I suspected its a hoax the sale address is a link to british telephone and the email if flipped back to Edimensional in the US.

Why am I doing this, mainly because I get so tired of Bull and hype on the internet by companies such as Edimensional. If anyone from Edimensional reads this I look forward to a reply.

Albert,

If you're not happy with edimensional offering products in the UK, perhaps you could try
http://www.imago3d.co.uk/

Or you could try http://www.i-art3d.de/ in Germany. Though I don't like the way you have to pay by Banker's Draft.

Or you could try:

Cybermind UK, LTD.
The Ridgemere Centre Barkby Road, Syston Leicestershire, LE7 2AJ United Kingdom
Tel. 44-1509-643407
mattd@cyberminduk.com

Or maybe:
http://www.widescreen-centre.co.uk/stereo2.html

This is eDimensional's UK address as quoted on their website:

eDimensional, Inc.
Unit A
Stirling Court
Stirling Road
SWINDON
SN3 4WD
ENGLAND

PS. Just for the cynics out there. I'm not associated in anyway to the above companies.

Yes Albert, if you're not happy with edimensional lowering prices for us brits then you are welcome to pay more somewhere else. I checked it out. They're down a ways from me in Swindon.

Hi everyone

This is an interesting development by edimensional, they are certainly offering very good prices.

It looks like we are over charging but there is no way we can compete. We cannot buy for the price that they are selling at, never mind our import duty and VAT.

I think it's a good thing that they are bringing prices down, I wish we could do the same. I have nothing against edimensional if they can reduce their costs in some way and then pass these savings on.

I just wish that we where able to compete in our own country, but then no one said that it was going to be easy.

I got E-D this week and rather disappointed by the ghosting.

Not sure if this is the product, or the shutter technology itself.

My expectations were high after reading the praising reviews, but I found very little joy and usability in them so far...

My refresh and fps are good (100Hz, usually 25-40 fps @1024*768)

decrease the separation and increase the gamma. at 100 hz you shouldn't have any problem or you might just not be able to use this technology in general. i would post this as a separate topic also

I tried almost all settings.

It`s not the separation, it is there with 10% and 100% as well, only the ghost position changes according to the setting.

If I increase the gamma to washed-out levels, the ghosting is not visible that much of course, but the overall image suffers greatly.

I can feel the 3d effect, so the lens are working, but I found it un-usable in high contrast environments.

Almost impossible to focus at contrast borders, even at lower separation. Tried 70-120 Hz, effect is the same...

Aren't the glasses sold by e-dimensional exactly the same as those from http://www.i-glasses.com ?

In fact don't io-systems make them for e-dimensional, they certainly look the same?

I have a pair of wired i-glasses and their gaming dongle, both work great with my Iiyama 17" monitor. I've used them at 1600x1200 at 85Hz and Even at 160Hz with very little ghosting.

In IL-2 for example it is impossible to tell what`s coming in the sky.

1 plane, 2 planes maybe 3? The contrast ghosting is very noticeable.

Some environments are indeed looking good, but only those of little contrast, at high separation.

Just a high contrast area appearing on screen, and the clear vision is lost.

What happened to Albert and his rant? Was his post a competitor's spoiler?

That's all this board has anymore. I'm so sick of it and it ruins this community.
