Hello,

I've the E-D Glasses (H3D renamed, if I well understand) and a GeForce4 Ti4600 from Asus. The installation of the stereo drivers crash my computer when the Asus GF4 drivers are installed. To make it working, I had to uninstall these drivers, and install those from nVidia.

Unless you aren´t using a deluxe version of the card you are really better of with the nvidia drivers, they are always faster and better than the Asus ones for example. (I got the same video card as you). Just download the 29.80 whql drivers for your op and the 29.80 stereo panel.

I have the Asus V8400 and when I use Nvidia stereo drivers (various ones from 23.11 to 29.80)my OpenGL games lock up.

Asus drivers go out of refresh rate range no matter what I set it to.

Everything worked fine with my Asus V7100.

a real bummer

Yep ... I've several problem now, and that's very strange ... sound is 1 second delayed, or some games won't start, or refresh rate is not correct ... and when I uninstall video and stereo drivers and reinstall them, it's magic, it work again !!! But after some hours or days (1 or 2), the problem appear again !

When it works, it's great ... but it don't work all the time :(

Fly can you email me , I have exactly the same probs you do and want to start a new thread for GeForce 4 probs ( send system specs if you can ). Turning GLextensions off in games like Jedi Outcast works but Soldier of Fortune 2 is a no-hoper.
I have been bugging Activision support about GeForce 4 cards and these kind of probs. The official line is they can't support 3D specs but the nice guy had a quick look at what is going off on forums and suspects Nvidia drivers are ballsed. I have tried 2 GeForce 4 cards , one an MX the other ti 4200 both from different manufacturers, same probs. Nvidia although making shyt hot cards seem to have no support and the card manufacturers don't seem to have much to do with the Stereo drivers.
