Hi every body
I need help from anybody who has experince of how to use i-glasses and headtracker with pc
First I need to have a user manual and I don't where to get it from
Seconde , I tried it with my pc but I think i couldn't get it work , I only can see the pic in DOS mode (forget about text) but when i get to the windows 98 I can't see any thing just black screen!!! I'm not sure do I need to connect the COM port to that black box ?!! I think that this COMport only used for head tracker but thers is no need for it if I only need to look at the disk top !!
Also I'm not sure if I need a driver or any software to install to get it work !! I know that there are some games need drivers and usually it comes with them, but i-glasses it self does it need any kind of software just to see desktop
Any help would be very appreciated

set your video to 640x480@60Hz. use elsa revelator, nvidia stereo or vrcaddy drivers for setereo and look at the legacy section on this webpage on how to use your headtracker in windows.

Which model of the i-glasses do you have?
and is it a PAL or NTSC unit?
You can also try contacting i-glasses helpdesk by mail at info@i-glasses.com

Good luck,

Vincent

Hi guys I am having this same problem, on boot I can see images no problem but when drivers kick in it disappears. I have installed the nvidia stereo drivers with matching display drivers (ended up on ver 56.72 as most of the others I tried errored in some way or another), my video is set to 640x480 and 60 Hz. I have a pair of virtual i.o i-glasses, the PC version which are from america so may be NTSC although I thought the PC versions were not picky about format? My graphics card is a geforce FX 5600. any help would be much appreciated, had these 3 days now and although they work great on ps2 no joy with PC at all.

I know these glasses as the cy-visor are a real stinker with refresh rate... Make sure on your pc it's set for the glasses.. Sometimes a game also on startup will have the system reset the rate, it happen to me acouple times..

There is the Stereo refresh rate override available on the control panel. If you set this to 60hz for all modes(16bit and 32bit) then no matter what the game attempts to do it should keep it at 60hz. Maybe you could try this and let us know what you find.

Hi guys, thanks for replies. I have checked the graphics card itself and that is set to 60 Hz as well as the stereo drivers being set to 60 Hz (in fact the stereo drivers wont let me change it to anything else) so I dont think this should be a problem. Anything else?

Just another update, I rolled my drivers back further to 45.23 and now the test application in stereo setup works! Which has got to be good however I still dont get anything else through them (desktop, video files or games) is there anything else I may be missing?

Use the nVidia standard reference driver plus nVidia stereoscopic driver from http://www.nvidia.com
