Is it possible to reduce the flicker on a PAL (50Hz) 3D-VHS (Sequential line) video by digitizing it into a computer. Then using a suitable graphics card and software to increase the refresh rate?

The easiest way is to get an ASUS-Deluxe board. It comes with video and s-video input connectors and a StereoTV player for 3D-tapes.

There are some drawbacks:
- the on-board digitizer of the ASUS isn't first rate in quality.
- it is unclear how long ASUS will continue to support their own stereo-driver and the stereoTV utility
- currently the ASUS solution doesn't allow storing 3d-video on the harddisk
