I have recently purchased the Eye3D Force from www.demensional.com and I tried to use it with a DirectX8 game called RealFlight G2. The game can run in both windowed and full screen mode, however I can't activate the 3d effects in it wit netiher windows (I know it is not supped to work) nor full screen mode. It would be really important for me for it to work as this is the reason why I've bought the glasses in the first place.
I am pretty sure it is a software issue, as the glasses are great, and I am very satisfied with them, it is a shame that there is no decent 3d driver software on the market yet as both wicked3d and VrCaddy are very immature and only work with some programs.

Any Advice would be appreciated!

If you have a NVidia powered board you can check http://www.stereovision.net/ for the latest developments regarding the ELSA and NVidia drivers, which may help here.

I don't know RealFlight, but if it's a flight-simulator there is a possibility that it won't support stereo at all.
Some flight-simulators don't use z-buffer, so there's no valid 3D-information.

Yeah, unfortunately, I have an ATI Radeon card, so for now my only support is from d3d wrappers like Wicked3d and VrCaddy.
Realflight G2 is a Remote Control (R/C) airplane and helicopter simulator, that is fully DirectX8 compatible (and requires it), and it does use Zbuffer information.
I think the problem lays in it's engine, as even in full screen mode it has pull down menus (no menu bar unles you hit ESC) so it is not the true full screen mode that wicked 3d or VrCaddy works with.

Realflight...AMA member? The problem isn't with the glasses or the drivers, it's the fact that Realflight was written without a z depth or whatever the technical term is. I have a friend that was having problems with the game and Realflights tech assist kept telling him it was hardware conflicts. He spent about 750 dollars on new hardware not to mention the overpriced "game". The problem was that the DirectX on the Realflight disc was corrupt. I tell you this to illustrate the level of incompetence at realflight support in case you turn in that direction for help on this issue.

On a side note, If your goal is to gain some practical experience with you controller I would suggest Microsoft Flight Simulator. It does support the stereo glasses and you can "stand" in one place and fly your aircraft. There is a site, www.flightsim.com , that has a number of add-on aircraft and I think I've seen some RC models there. The fight dynamics are very realistic and the scenery is much better (realistic) than Realflight.
