Hi,

I've just been reading up recently about field sequential 3D dvds and players for your TV. I happen to live in a country that uses PAL and I know most 3D Field sequential DVDs and the players (not sure if thats what you call them) as well as shutter glasses are set for ntsc's 60hz.

Now my tvs and dvd platyers can play ntsc content (as most PAL devices can), but what I am wondering is if the tv and dvd player then play it out at 60hz so I'd still be able to see the 3D effect, or whether the tv still plays it out in 50hz (therefore, I'm assuming, ruining the 3D effect).

Any answers would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

i believe the problem would be severe flicker, not necessarily the loss of the 3D effect...

Hi,

If you can watch NTSC on your TV set then it will work with 60hz. If you can only play on PAL then it is 50hz. However, there is no loss of the 3D effect but with 50hz there is more flicker.
