Hi everyone my emagin z800 head tracker has stopped working in vista.
Ive never had problems before its just suddenly stopped working.
Ive tried it in my laptop which has xp and works no problem.
On my Vista pc ive uninstalled all drivers, cleaned out the registry ,then reinstalled drivers and labtool.
Everything goes in ok even when i turn lab tool on it doesnt say theres a problem finding the head tracker.
When i press to enable the tracker it just doesnt work.
Looked in device manager doesnt seem to be anyproblems.
Anyone got any suggestions.

Bleh this seems to be one of these Vista ilnesses. my friend had the same problem, he was sure its some system setting, but he actually didn't get it fixed. His solution was to re-install Vista, that actually got it back working. Wish i could post a real solution, but we were also both surprised by this sudden condition. As in your case it seemed it came out of nowhere - as it was after his computer rebooted i thought it was due to some update, but after re-install he applied all updates again it it still worked fine (???). You can try the system restore to restore it to an earlier date, but that didnt work for us. Maybe it does for you?
