I've been looking at a few older HMDs that were considered high-end at one point in time. All of them were meant for SGI boxes, and take 3 x 60Hz = 180 Hz field sequential signals. While I know adaptors exist to use an SGI monitor on a PC, I've never seen them run this kind of signal. However, most of the data I've found is at least a year or two old, if not several years old.

I was just wanting to know if this was feasible or not.

I'm looking to mostly do home simulation, with some "immersion gaming" on the side. On that note, I'd like to add that I'm really more interested in immersive displays than in stereo/3d display.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated
