Change card for video capturing. The ASUS card does not have HW accelerated vide compresor and it is therefor not capable to capture in quality and format nessesery for stereo video procesing. | ||

If you have a fast CPU and Ulead Video Studio 6 you can use any encoder. The built-in is OK for stereo as long as you use the latest driver and latest utilities and a high reolution. What is the video source? Interlace? | ||

I'd like to capture video that was shot with a Nuview stereo attachment through my ASUS6600 delux card, then and copy it to CD-ROM in a compressed (MPEG) format. | ||

Use the Asus format to preserve the interlace info, but converting to MPEG destroys the interlace info. you have to convert to above/below format first. | ||

The Asus has hardware support for capture to UVUV (or similar letter combo) for easy realtime conversion/capture to mpeg2. | ||
