Tearing my hair out here, I've been trying to get these damn things working for two evenings now - and that's after following all the useful suggestions on this board.

1.
Drivers installed from CD - 61.77 Nvidia and 61.77 3D. Firstly the glasses wouldn't stay enabled. Cured that by installing 56.73 3D then 61.77s.

2.
61.77 Nvidia drivers don't activate stereoscopic mode properly. Only horizontally flicker the game and glasses, no actual alteration of graphics. Medical display is totally static and glasses don't activate. Test application regularly crashes.

3.
Used driver cleaner, downgraded to 61.76 Nvidia and 61.76 3D drivers. Games now seem to horizontally shift and also interlace - no alteration of graphics. Glasses won't activate. Tried registry fix - no dice. Test application still regularly crashes.

4.
Kept Nvidia driver at 61.76 and upgraded 3D driver to 61.77 (I know they're meant to be identical - but I'm running out of options). Same issue, glasses won't activate. Test application STILL regularly crashes.

Whoever wrote that pathetically incomprehensive quick-start on the packaging is a muppet. I've never had such hassle with a piece of hardware in all my years of computing.

If anyone has some final suggestions before I send it back as a non-functioning product, I'd be most appreciative.

Thanks.

Hi guys

Before anyone can help it would be essential to let us know.

Wired version or unwired of the glasses?
LCD or CRT?
DVI output or Dsub used on the card?
Operating system?
Are you using RIVAtuner or have you overclocked your system?
Have you installed both edims software and Nvidia's?

Thx
Unclebob

Hay uncle bob

GO wireless.. it lets others watch. not stuck to one set.
LCD or CRT or DLP Is said to work.. I have talked to the techs. Rummer has it that the newer glasses work with infocus projectors as well .. That is what i am all about..!!!! Nvida is the way to go with edimensional.

OK hoped that helped

I have a Dell 26" W2600 LCD and the wired glasses with the latest drivers do nothing but flicker. They said these would work with my LCD. I'm running a 6800GT. Please help
