anyone have any luck with the FX3400 (PCI-Express) card and the DIN connector?

The FX3000 (AGP), under the "additional opengl properties", Stereo Display mode has the option of "Use on-board DIN connector".

This option is not shown for the FX3400.

Using driver 61.76

I tried looking up the Registry entry posted earlier in the NVIDIA releases new driver thread "StereoViewerType", but it does not exist.

Any ideas?

I'm using a Stereographics Zscreen 2000i. WIN XP SP1a on Dell Precision 470

Are you using "professional" OpenGL stereo or "consumer 3d stereo" driver like http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dstereo_61.77 (must be installed additionally to the "main" graphics driver)? "StereoViewerType" belongs to "consumer 3d stereo" driver.

This would be on the professional OpenGL stereo side of things.

I've run into this problem, too, with my Quadro FX 3400. I have a similar system to that described above (Dell Precision 370, Windows XP SP1a) and I'm trying to use a Zscreen 2000i.

I am using the Consumer 3d Stereo driver , and I have changed the StereoViewerType registry as mentioned above. However, there still is no signal trough the DIN connector. (The same holds true if I try connecting my Crystaleyes hardwar, too. Furthermore, the Zscreen works fine with my older 900XGL which uses older drivers.)

The other thread also stated that the workstation stereo must be turned off. How do I check if this is the problem? And how would I disable this?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks! I got it working with the 68.72 driver. I had enabled the shutter glasses for stereo, whereas I needed to enable the DIN connector.

There is no list of "DIN connector" for the stereo type with the latest driver, just modify manually the registry item "Ogl_APIStereoMode" with 03. It will be okay.

However, there is some problems for multi stereo view application across two FX3400 cards. Often stereo only displays on one of card. occasully it can display on both, but one of them disappears when you move the window a little bit.
