When trying to watch a dvd in 3d, as soon as I click the 3d button on the player, the picture goes full screen and flickers on and off repeatedly. By that I mean that the image appears briefly and then the screen blacks out briefly. I've tried setting the driver to enabled and hotkey but it makes no difference. Games work fine, anyone got any idea what's going on? System specs: XP Home, PIII 1.266 (512/133), 512mb ram, GF 5200FX, Nvidea drivers both 56.72, Dell P991 19" monitor 1024X768 @ 100mhz. | ||

Just to let people know that I wrote to edimensional and they recommended downloading their own DVD software, 3DroDVD, which I did. I can now watch DVDs but not without problems. I have to reduce the monitors refresh rate to 60mhz before starting the DVD player, which should be controled by the software IMO and it goes to full screen in 3D even though I would prefer to watch within the window. It's very difficult to stop the program once its started and I usually have to use ctrl+Alt+Del to quit. It also slows down the computer and the mouse just crawls across the screen and very few of the DVD controls seem to work. There maybe some conflict with my system but I think there's a fault with the program. | ||

hello richard. i see that you are using this 3drodvd program. i had to reinstall my system and i dont have the key anymore. i already contacted e-d support line (via e-mail) but it takes a long time....i'm still waiting for them to decide to help me...i was wandering if you could share the key until they decide to send me a new one...thank you My rig: P4 3.6 ht, 800-1066, 2 gb of Ram pc 533 (2-3-3-3),ati x800pro, 17" monitor and a dlp hp projector |
