Hi, this is a very interesting forum. I've been fiddling around with stereo 3D since I worked at Silicon Graphics (SGI) about 8 years ago.
Can someone please explain why shutter glasses wouldn't work with a 60Hz TFT screen. Here's my logic:
I have Nvidia Stereo drivers. If I use page flipping, won't I get a 30Hz (admittedly not ideal) picture: left eye blanked out - right eye gets image, 1/60 sec later reverse process etc. I thought that's how it worked. I use DVI so I'm sure there'd be problems with interaced methods, but why not page flipping? I read some people mentioning polarisation. I'd be grateful for some insight.

See response to your post in General 3D discussion area. It is "messy" to make multiple posts on the same topic. Just pick an area you think is most appropriate rather than using the shotgun approach.
