i got two pairs of wireless glasses over the weekend from ED and i can't seem to get them to work. It's a tv kit so there's barely any hook up. when i plug in another pair of wired glasses i already have they work fine. so i know i'm hooked up ok.

But when i press the ON switch on the wireless nothing happens. does anyone know how to tell if the IR signal works?

i tried calling the support line but i keep getting an answering machine and they haven't returned my calls. I also emailed their support site 3 the times but i also got no response from them.

thank you

You should see the IR emitter shine resp. flicker bright white with any digital (photo/video/web/mobile) camera when it's working.
Have you tried new batteries in the glasses? IIRC there have been complaints that ED delivered weak batteries..

Thanks, the new batteries did the trick. I just didn't think that both pairs of glasses would have bad bateries in them, that's why that wasn't my first instinct. But sure enough, we had them checked at the store and all 4 batteries were completely dead. Nice service...

even now i haven't received an answer to any of my mails (it's been 5 days) to the ED support. (couldn't speak to them on the phone either today...) definetely the worst service i've ever had anywhere...

but thank you again for telling me about those bad batteries.

well, i just got a call from Nathan from ED support. he apologized for the delay. He was very nice and told me he was going to send me replacement batteries in the mail. i guess it's the least they can do.

i don't know if it has anything to do with me conplaining on this site but... at least they called back. anyway all is well after all.
