Ok!
I have the above card(with the ti4600 chipset, 128mb ddr..etc etc, and the problem is quite simple, the 3d glasses don't work. I found out in the manual that they don't work with LCD screens(since they don't allow high refresh rates. So I've tested them in a nice typical monitor(sony e220) supporting stereo refresh rate 120hz. But appart from a thick pink trasnparent line at the bottom of the screen(while in the stereo testing screen) nothing else occured. I also cannot see the squares at the medical test! I have the latest nvidia drivers for the card, a 2.4Ghz pentium4, 512ram(800mhz)..err what else? Ah yes! and the screen res at 800x600x120hz(But I've also tried 1280x1024x75hz, plus the glass setings(120hz) refresh override the screen settings)...

Does anybody have any idea of what has to be don to get the damn thing set up???
Pleeeeeeease if it ain't much trouble help me!!

Ps:I've also read sth about driver problems having to do with the OS language...i have winXP(english) but the nvidia drivers are in greek...In linux i have found nothing concerning stereo drivers, therefore i could not try threre!

Thanks again!

Try this:
1. Uninstall all video drivers
2. Install ASUS driver v 45.23 (NOT NVidia, but ASUS! driver) (for example ASUS v8460 Ultra 45.23)
3. Install NVidia (NVidia!) stereo-driver 45.23
4. Try your glasses

May be it will help ...

Well, Tried That, though the only thing differing with before was that when i turned my head hound the colors(in the test sample) changed...not any sense of depth or 3d perspective really...

Thanks though!

I wonder if installing the ASUS-version of the nVidia reference driver activates the ASUS-stereo-viewer mode. This mode never worked for me, always was buggy. Only the standard setting for Revelator-type glasses work.
I only saw the ASUS mode once working on a different machine with a similar ASUS board and same OS. I got the impression that the ASUS mode tends to work on AMD machines, but not on P4 - which is hard to believe. My discussions with the nVidia developers over this were fruitless since they always insist on the ASUS-mode not being buggy.

Please check:

there's a special text box for ASUS users.

hi
i have the same problems with thisasus card: the glasses do not shutter.
tried everything: drivers from asus and nvidia, fresh windows (2k) install, ne cable without pin 12 and/or pin 15, refresh rates ......
my monitor shows 2 images when i switch with strg-t, but the revelator do not shutter
this sucks.
if you find a method to solving this problem, please give me a message: MyHugole@Icqmail.com
thanks
