I recently purchased an I/O glasses SVGA 3D HMD and a pair of I/O LCD shutter glasses to pursue my interest in VR. I have an nvidia FX5200 graphics card and the nvidia 45.23 stereo drivers running on my PC. I downloaded a couple of the shareware games which nvidia suggest work well for stereo viewing and the results are brilliant,im well impressed.

Now to the problem, I recently purchased dark basic pro in order to write some VR walkthroughs amongst other things and have come up against a barrier. When I run my 3d creations as well as third party exe's from dark basic in stereo, the left image appears OK but the right image is screwed. The amount of screwiness depends on the screen res and the color depth chosen for the DBpro exe, it almost looks like there is a resolution mismatch problem but only on the right image. I have tried over the last few days to get an answer from DB support but to no avail, I have also had no luck posting messages on the developer's message board.

I am wondering with this lists knowledge of VR if someone can help or maybe put me in touch with someone who is running DB applications with stereo

something new i just found. i grabed a stereo image and viewed it with the nvidia stereo viewer. The left image is ok but the right image seems to have bits and pieces in it from my desktop????????the DB exe was made in full screen exclusive mode.

could be a pointer to the problem??????
