I was wondering if there has been any updates on wether LCD TFT flat panels will work and how since the posting in 2001 which says they dont.
Im curious as I have Asus 3d glasses and had them working via the DVI port on my v8440 with a CRT but have recently bought a Philips TFT for AU$900 unaware that I would have probs.

Thanxs for any assistance

Dave

It may work to some degree, but only at 60Hz - the native internal frequency of the LCD.

Apart from that you may have sync-delay and polarization problems. So it's not a real alternative to CRT.
