I installed the latest nvidia drivers, played around with it for a while, the medical test, test application and everything worked just fine. Even tried motocross madness 2 and it really worked ! Suddleny, after fiddling around a bit in the control panels, the glasses stopped working. now the flicker whenever I turn the computer on, until win 2000 loads completely and i am logged in, directly when I start the control panel and activate the 3d in it the glasses stop flicker... This is crazy, the medical test does not work any more, nor the test application. But the glasses flicker when directX is NOT activated. Anyone else with this issue ??

Not quite, but I have had all 3D functions DISAPPEAR in XP on occasion. In XP one can always restore to an older version, which gets rid of the problem. Why ASUS is always 1 or more generation behind the reference drivers is beyond me.

I manually deleted the stereo3d key in regedit, reinstalled and then the glasses started working, the whole system feels veeery beta even with the new drivers. When playing SOF2 the depth gets crossed somehow. After running sof2 the medical test inverts !! Crazy !

If the board has two VGA/DVI ports try the other one.

Also try the ASUS-mode of the nVidia driver
StereoViewerType=2 in the registry.
