I've obtained an old pair of 3D Max glasses by Kasan, with an 8-bit card (fits in an EISA slot but not compatible with even my oldest PC, which has ATI Mach 64 - it will work with Mach 32 though!). I am thinking I could use the glasses with a homebrew VGA-PT controller - does anyone know if this would work? Any advice on which to build? Is there any way to check the glasses beforehand - can I do something like connect an AA battery across them to see if they darken?
